Dave graduated from the University of Bradford England, earning a degree in Physical Therapy in 1993. Dave relocated to the United States in 1996 and has been the clinic director of Physical Therapy in Motion since 2004.
Throughout his 17 year career, Dave has observed many different philosophies of treatment and has found the McKenzie Method to be the most effective. He became credentialed in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy through the McKenzie Institute International in 2002, and received a diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy in 2003. Dave has continued to increase his knowledge and expertise in approach by becoming teaching faculty with the McKenzie Institute's USA branch, teaching courses to physical therapists, chiropractors and physicians throughout the United States.
Patient education highlights Dave's personal treatment philosophy. More can be learned from listening to the patient than any test available, and when the patient understands the reasons and the goals for treatment, there is greater empowerment toward success.
